Sexual Cognitive Behavior and Education Program
Sexual Cognitive Behavior and Education Program is an ecliptic innovative
approach to reduce maladaptive behavior which may lead to reoffending by low risk offenders,using a psychological, educational and spiritually based model to modify behavior and promote change.This program provides didactic groups on multiple topics as related to sexual offending and subtance abuse.
Program Objectives
1. To identify and modify maladaptive patterns of behavior using a cognitive behavioral approach.
2. For individuals to acknowledge and accept responsibilities and be accountable for actions and past behavior. 3. Provide substance abuse educational services to aid in the recovery process. 4. Facilitate group process to build positive interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Offer transitional and support services into the community to assist with employment and housing.
6. Integrate partnerships with local agencies and services in the community.
Transitional Goals
1.To reduce the potential for further maladaptive behavior.
2. Foster the understanding of what lead to behavior and its impact on other.
3. Abstain from alcohol and drugs use.
4. Develop and implement a plan for relapse prevention.
5. Build a positive self-image and attitude toward sexual identity and behavior.
